WPL is partnering with the Wheaton League of Women Voters, Downtown Wheaton Association, and Wheaton Chamber of Commerce to encourage everyone to register to vote before the upcoming November election! Rock the Vote on Hale Street 

Wednesdays, September 28 • 5:30 – 8 pm: Cancelled due to dropping temperature  

Tuesday, October 11 • 5:30 – 8 pm 

Hale Street, Downtown Wheaton 

Join us for live music on Hale Street! The Wheaton League of Women Voters will be sharing election information. Sponsored by the Downtown Wheaton Association. No registration required.

Monday, Sept. 26 • 10 am – 2 pm 

Wheaton Public Library, Meeting Room A 

The Secretary of State's Mobile Express Unit will offer limited services, including Driver’s License/State ID Card renewal, replacement, and correction, Vehicle Sticker Sales, and more. Please visit our online calendar for additional information. No registration required.   

 

Plant, Water & Resource Smart 

Wednesday, Oct. 5 • 7 pm  

Wheaton Public Library, Meeting Room A 

Join local expert Kay McKeen, founder of SCARCE (School & Community Assistance for Recycling & Composting Education), to learn about the importance of native plants and water conservation, as well as easy tips to help preserve natural resources and promote a healthy environment. Registration required.  

 

Concert: Kaleidoscope Eyes 

Sunday, Oct. 9 • 2 pm 

Wheaton Public Library, West Plaza 

Kick-off the 4EVER4 Beatles exhibit and Rock the Vote with a performance by acoustic Beatles tribute band, Kaleidoscope Eyes! Concert will be held outdoors on the library’s West Plaza. Bring your own chairs and blankets. In case of inclement weather, concert will be held inside the library. Sponsored by Wheaton Public Library and Wheaton League of Women Voters. No registration required.
