Wheaton Public Library is embarking on a journey to create a new destination for readers. Spotlight, our boutique-style marketplace, will provide easy access to trending topics and popular titles in a modern browsable area. Discover books you didn’t know you needed, peruse the expanded Lucky Day collection, and find hidden gems from across the collection.

The library can text you when holds are ready for pickup, items are almost due and items are overdue.
If you were receiving text notices before January 2025 and would like to continue to receive them, please sign up again. We have a new texting service that started in January.

Check out the library’s new resource Udemy for access to video tutorials on over 3,500 subjects–from photography to Microsoft Office, and AI (artificial intelligence) to communication and time management.

Youth Services Display Case

Our Youth Services Department has a great opportunity for young patrons to display their collectables in our display cases on the library's Lower Level. Interested? Fill out our Display Case Form for a chance to be featured.
Wheaton Public Library card is required. The card may belong to the child or caregiver.

Stop in for coffee, a smoothie or a bite to eat. Enter from the West Plaza when the library isn't open.

Friends Holiday Book & Art Sale
Start your holiday shopping early! The Friends Holiday Book & Art Sale is November 7-10 where you'll find one-of-a-kind items that make great gifts.
This sale features like-new books, autographed copies, collectibles, Christmas items, art prints, unique gifts and more.
Where: The Arts & Culture Center on the main floor. Cash, checks, credit and debit cards are accepted. All money raised directly benefits the library.
