Resources for Finding Your Voice

Express yourself, learn new skills, and try something new this summer at WPL! This year’s Summer Reading Challenge theme is all about finding your voice, and the library has several resources available to help you do just that. Learn more about these resources below, and don’t forget to join our Summer Reading Challenge at wheatonlibrary.org/src

Mango Languages

If you’ve always wanted to learn a language, why not start now! Grab your library card and download the Mango Languages App to begin. Mango Languages has over 70 world language courses to choose from including Arabic, Korean, Polish, Russian, and Spanish.

Audiobooks

Switch up the way you consume your reads this summer! Audiobooks give the freedom to move around while still enjoying a book. Check out an audiobook through Libby to listen to while on your morning commute, or stop by the library to pick up a physical copy for when you’re cleaning the house.

Tech2Go Items

Why spend money on a bunch of AV equipment when you can borrow items for free? Borrow a portable PA speaker, microphone, projector screen, and more with your WPL card. Searching for other equipment? Our Tech2Go collection just might have it.

Programs

Listen, learn, and express yourself this summer with programs from the library! Stop by the West Plaza for concerts, get crafty during our art programs, or connect with your community by joining one of our clubs or groups.
