This March, WPL will start to offer some programs in a hybrid format with an in-person presenter and both in-person and virtual participants via Zoom. The library is very excited to have our patrons engage with programs again in-person!
What is hybrid programming?
Hybrid programming is where a program has an in-person presenter and audience, as well as a virtual audience. During the in-person program, library staff will stream the presentation via Zoom so audience members who would prefer to watch from home can do so.
How do I know if a program is hybrid?
Our online calendar is the best place to see the most up-to-date information on our programs. If a program is hybrid, you will see two program entries on the calendar. One is marked “in-person” and the other “virtual”.
How do I register for a hybrid program?
Registering for a hybrid program is done the same way as any other on the library’s online calendar. Simply choose the “in-person” or “virtual” program entry based on how you prefer to attend.
We can’t wait to see everyone soon! To see our upcoming in-person and virtual adult programs, visit our online calendar. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to give us a call at 630-868-7510.
