Program Description
Event Details
Looking to learn some fiber arts skills (knitting/crochet)? Are you an avid fan of yarn work and would like to meet some fellow yarn-trepreneurs? Maybe you just need to earn some volunteer hours and you enjoy crafting?
If any of the above apply to you, then feel free to join us in our newly created fiber arts club, 'The Chronicles Of Yarnia', a year-round club. We'll be meeting the first and third Wednesday of the month for June and July with dates for August to be announced at a later date.
(For those interested in this as a source of volunteer hours, we'll have a sign-in sheet for each meeting where hours will be logged. Participating in group and donatable projects will be mandatory to count for service hours.)
Together, we'll work on individual, group projects, and donations for non-profit groups! Our first group project will be yarn bookmarks to donate to the library, which will eventually lead into making scarves to donate to those in need for Winter (non-profit not yet reached out to).
All skill levels are welcome, feel free to BYOM (Bring Your Own Materials) but we'll also provide for participants!
