Program Description

Event Details

The WPL Writers Group meets monthly on the 3rd Thursday via Zoom. Facilitated by local author and library staff member, Karen Schreck, we provide a supportive and consistent environment for writers of all genres, ages eighteen years of age and up.

Whether you are an aspiring writer or a published author, whether you seek inspiration for your material, or you are drafting, revising, or editing your manuscript, our community will supply you with prompts and exercises, time and space to write, and, if you so choose, the opportunity to share your work and receive constructive feedback.

Connection information will be emailed to those registered the day of or day prior to meeting. Email us at ce@wheatonlibrary.org for a writing prompt that we will discuss at the meeting.

We ask that participants turn their cameras and microphones on in order to better engage and interact with the facilitator and others in attendance.

Zoom Webinars and Meetings

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email and reminders containing information about joining the Zoom program. If you need assistance, please email us.
