ACES: Veterans Health Care & Benefits

The ACES: Aging & Caregiving Engagement & Support series is designed to provide a consolidated source of vital information for seniors and caregivers. This month, Kristy Bassett, of Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital, will explain how to enroll with the Veterans Administration (VA) and various programs available through the hospital. Steve Fixler, of the Veterans Assistance Commission of DuPage County, will explain how his organization supports Veterans with temporary emergency financial assistance. He will also explain VA benefits, especially those for older Veterans.
