Are you an adult who loves all things Disney and romance novels? If so, check out this series of retellings of classic Disney stories. Each entry focuses on a different fairy tale, so unlike a typical series, there is no connection between the books. And while the series features different superstar romance authors putting a modern spin on the story, all of these feel-good books can be categorized as sweet romances.
Most recently, Christina Lauren released Tangled Up in You (2024), putting a road trip spin on the Rapunzel story featuring sheltered yet enthusiastic Ren and world-weary Fitz. Previous titles include If the Shoe Fits (2021) by Julie Murphy (inspired by Cinderella) with fashion school grad Cindy surprisingly joining a reality TV show; By the Book (2022) by Jasmine Guillory (inspired by Beauty and the Beast) where editorial assistant Isabelle helps a reclusive author; and Kiss the Girl (2023) by Zoraida Cordova (inspired by The Little Mermaid) with pop star Ariel leaving the celebrity lifestyle to travel incognito with an up-and-coming band.
