Elizabeth Berg is one of my favorite authors. She does not disappoint in her latest novel, The Confession Club, a heartwarming story about the residents of Mason, Missouri that began with the book, The Story of Arthur Truluv and continues with Night of Miracles. Arthur Truluv and his continuing effects on the people he befriends make for a story that has you laughing and crying. It’s one of those books that you hate to see come to an end.
If you’ve already enjoyed those titles (I’m actually re-reading the series for a second time), I recommend any of her books. They are all engaging, well written and delightful.
