Adults and Families

Our kids grow up and grow out of toys that they used to play with. If you have toys that your children are no longer using, consider swapping them for something new-to-you!

Bring in your gently used toys to the Youth Services Desk and receive a ticket for each toy you donate. Bring your tickets in on Saturday, January 11 to exchange them for some new-to-you toys. Ticket holders can “shop” from 10-11:30 am. Any leftover toys will be available to the public at 11:30am.

Please read the following carefully:

Bring no more than 10 toys

* Toys can be brought in January 2-10 during library hours. No toys will be accepted the day of the swap.

* The swap is a “toy for a toy” regardless of the original cost. Smaller “prize” toys (ex. Happy meal toys, etc.) may be grouped together for a single ticket.

No cloth/fabric toys or toys intended to be put in a child’s mouth (teething items, etc.).

* Staff reserve the right to refuse toys that do not meet the requirements.

Toys should be clean and in working condition (no missing parts, please).

If you would like to donate toys instead of getting tickets to swap, we will gladly accept items that meet our requirements.

Examples of toys to bring include complete puzzles, games, wooden toys, toy sets, action figures, construction toys, educational toys, physical activity toys, etc.
