Event Details
Are you a fan of the holidays, but hate having to wrap gifts? Do you find the art of gift-wrapping to be a chore and too time-consuming?
Then do we have the program for you! Wheaton Public Library's Teen Volunteers present our first-ever Holiday Wrap-a-thon!
Join us Sundays December 15th and 22nd from 1:00 until 4:30 pm in the Arts & Culture Center where we'll wrap up your worries!
Just pop on by with your gifts (please limit to ten large, or fifteen small gifts) and we'll wrap, trim, and decorate your presents.
NO REGISTRATION REQUIRED!
FAQ:
Is it free?
Yes! We're doing this for the joy of the holiday (and volunteer hours). However, if you'd like to donate wrapping paper or giftbox decor (ribbons, name tags, tape) we're happy to accept for either this year or the following!
Do I need to donate to get my gifts wrapped?
Absolutely not! The donations aren't a requirement, rather just an extra way to say thank you.
Why is there a limit for how many gifts you'll wrap?
Unfortunately, while we're happy to do this for you, we want to make sure there's enough time to help as many people as we can in the pre-holidays rush.
What if I have more than ten large gifts/fifteen small gifts that I need wrapped?
For each session, we'll only take the ten large/fifteen small limit, but if you need more wrapped, we are doing two sessions this year. We are not limiting patrons only to one session (the 15th or the 22nd), but depending on time and availability of volunteers, we'd be happy to continue wrapping more for you on another day.
