Join Chitrahar for a fun and educational workshop: Bollywood, Bhangra, and More! Chitrahar Cultural Academy is a non-profit performing arts organization dedicated to promoting South Asian culture and awareness, and to facilitating cross-cultural understanding to strengthen our communities. Our lively Indian dance classes-rich with cultural heritage and information on South Asian languages, music and movement-cover modern Bollywood, some classical dance forms including Kathak and Bharatanatyan, and traditional Folk dances from Punjabi Gujarat, Maharashtra and across the subcontinent. Chitrahar joins us in partnership with the Old Town School of Folk Music.

The library makes every effort to ensure our programs can be enjoyed by all. If you have any concerns about accessibility or need to request specific accommodations, please contact the library.
