Event Details

Interested in learning more about your historic property? Ever wonder how old your house is? Who lived there in the past? What it looked like originally? Whether your interest is a home's construction date, past owners, or its architecture, reserve a 30-minute time slot to get one-on-one help discovering available resources, where to find them, and what each resource may reveal. Learn about the Wheaton Register of Historic Places and getting your house listed.

Assistance provided by members of the City of Wheaton Historic Commission and Wheaton Public Library staff in conjunction with Wheaton Preservation Week.

Drop-ins welcome, but reservations are recommended. Contact Adult Services at 630-868-7520 or visit the Reference Desk on the 2nd Floor to make a reservation.

Can't make this date? Home History Research Help sessions are also being offered on Monday, May 8 from 6-9 PM.
