Program Description

Event Details

Find out why many historians believe the murder of a 14-year-old Chicago boy in 1955 was a major contributor in the development of the modern Civil Rights Movement. Mike Small and his wife Tina were very close to Emmett’s mother, Mamie Till, until her death in 2003. They have shared Emmett’s story throughout the United States.
