Event Details

Explore the popularity and social significance of melodramatic archetypes (the writer, the gangster, the femme fatale, etc.) of the mystery genre as featured in films and literature of the 1930s and in Wheaton Drama's production of Seven Keys to Baldpate (January 26 - February 18). Based on the novel by Earl Derr Biggers (creator of the Charlie Chan series) and originally adapted for the stage by legendary entertainer, George M. Cohan, Seven Keys to Baldpate is a melodramatic mystery farce certain to please the discerning armchair detective.
