Program Description

Event Details

Earth has sustained life in many different forms for more than 3 billion years. Celebrate Earth Day (April 21) by joining Michelle Nichols, Director of Public Observing at Adler Planetarium as she highlights an (incomplete) list of 12 things that make our planet special. These features influence what astronomers look for as they search for Earth-like planets elsewhere.
