Talking About Race: Should We Be Colorblind?

Thursday, October 1, 2020 -
7:00pm to 8:00pm
WPL is pleased to partner with the Parent's Group DEI200 - Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Advisory Council for CUSD200 to offer the series, "Talking About Race," to be held the first Thursday of each month at 7pm. The aim of this series is to provide a comfortable space for conversation about how to discuss race with others, including your family.

The first program topic will be the issue of being "colorblind." Ideally, everyone would be treated equally regardless of skin color. Join us for a conversation around the concept of being "colorblind" in our imperfect world.

Please submit questions for the Q&A portion of the program to ce@wheatonlibrary.org.
