6:30pm to 8:30pm
As part of the library's presentation of his exhibition, "When Home Won't Let You Stay," about refugees in America, documentary photographer James A. Bowey is presenting a special program of photography and storytelling to consider the refugee issue, and our responses to the needs of displaced people around the world. This compelling event explores how we can bear witness in a contentious world, and awaken our empathetic imaginations to the possibilities of hope, liberty and human connection.
Registration is required. Each attendee must be registered individually to be guaranteed a seat. In the event that this program becomes full, individuals on the waiting list may be seated (if seating is available) at the scheduled program start time.
