Adults

• Earn points for each book you read – including audiobooks and eBooks
• Each week, two random winners will be chosen to win a $20 gift certificate to Downtown Wheaton
• Earn additional points for completing missions and activities, like finding secret codes and attending programs
• Complete the challenge and be entered to win a $50, $75, or $100 gift certificate to Downtown Wheaton

Teens (6th to 12th grade)

• Read and participate in programs and activities to earn points and win prizes
• Prizes include coupons for Kimmer’s Ice Cream or Little Popcorn Store, a Teenspace Backpack and an entry into our grand prize drawing

Youth (Birth - 5th Grade)

Watch this video to see what fun you'll have with Youth Services this summer
• Earn points for every minute you read or are read to
• Earn additional points for finding secret codes, attending library programs, and completing the Summer Reading Challenge passport
• Prizes include coupons for Kimmer’s Ice Cream or Little Popcorn Store and a coupon for a free children’s book from an upcoming Friends of the Library book sale and entry into our grand prize drawing

Reading Colors Your World Poster Contest
• Pick up a blank poster in the Youth Services department and start designing for the chance to win a prize
• Contest is for children entering grade 6 and under
• Turn in posters by July 31

Summer Reading Challenge Passport
• Pick up a passport in the Youth Services department (or download it here) and start reading across the 7 continents and colors of the rainbow
• Completed passports will earn you a World Reader Brag Tag

• Find pages of a book in the windows of downtown Wheaton businesses
